SHORT (50 WORDS)
Lost Vessel is a sci-fi idle RPG with a co-op endgame. Crash on an alien planet, salvage, craft, master six skills, fight through six combat zones, forge legendary gear. Then unlock PVP factions, raids, and a server-wide weekly world boss. Browser + Steam. Your save travels everywhere.
MEDIUM (150 WORDS)
Lost Vessel is a sci-fi idle RPG where the solo grind hides a co-op endgame. You crashed alone on a hostile alien planet. Salvage the wreckage, mine resources, craft gear, and fight your way through six combat zones using three combat styles - melee, ranged, and void magic. Forge equipment from common to legendary, master research trees, and grow your colony. Then you discover you're not alone. Pick one of three factions. Raid other survivors for territory. Join hundreds of players in a server-wide weekly world boss fight. Cross-device saves mean your progress travels between your browser and your Steam install - keep playing on your phone, your laptop, or on Steam Deck. The early hours feel like a focused single-player survival idle. The endgame is the social hook other idle games don't offer.
LONG (400 WORDS)
Lost Vessel is a sci-fi idle RPG where you crashed alone on a hostile alien planet - and slowly discover you're not the only one. Start with nothing but the wreckage of your ship. Salvage debris, mine resources, craft tools and weapons, and fight your way through six combat zones - from the crashed-ship perimeter to the dimensional rift at endgame. Combat uses three styles - melee, ranged, and void magic - with a weakness triangle that rewards picking the right tool for the right enemy. Status effects, gear affixes, mastery tracks, and ship augments give the combat real depth without losing the idle pace. Forge your gear from common through legendary tier. Crack open salvage crates. Research a deep tech tree that unlocks new zones, recipes, and game systems. Build your colony from the wreckage of the ship. Level six skills past 999 each if you want to push the cap. Then the game opens up. At level 10 you can join one of three rival factions. They contest the same territory every week. You raid other survivors for resources and standing. You hold defenses against incoming raids using one-shot tactic cards and a permanent defense lineup. The faction whose contributions add up first wins the week and gets a planet-wide buff. And then you discover the truth: you're sharing this planet with hundreds of other survivors. Every week a server-wide world boss appears in the Nexus. Players donate resources to weaken it, then the whole server takes attempts to bring it down. Top contributors get the best rewards. This is the co-op endgame most idle games never build. Your save travels with you. Lost Vessel runs in any modern browser and on Steam (Windows, with Steam Deck support). The same account logs into both - your progress moves between platforms seamlessly. Play at your desk, on your laptop, on your phone, on Steam Deck on the couch. The same survivor. The early hours read as a focused single-player survival idle. The endgame is everyone, fighting and helping each other across a shared planet. It's the social reveal that makes Lost Vessel different from every other idle game on Steam.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPER

Lost Vessel is developed and published by Lazy Frog Games.

The game grew out of a frustration with how shallow idle game social systems usually are. Most idle games end with you alone, watching numbers go up forever. Lost Vessel started as an experiment to see if a deep idle progression could lead INTO a co-op endgame instead of away from one.

The browser version has been in active development with a small community of players helping shape the late-game systems through weekly updates. Steam launch is planned for Q3 2026 following Steam Next Fest.
